The remaining products can be checked using conventional inventory management systems, but they only show the number of products in the stock. These products, available in stock, might not be on the shelves. Current inventory systems cannot understand the number of products on the shelves. On-shelf availability (OSA) is provided by employees with manual checking at most of the grocery stores. This approach is not effective and requires human labor. Aviarsis OSA solution detects empty shelves, almost empty shelves, and products on shelves using image recognition and object detection techniques. High OSA can be provided this way. Our solution can be applied for all sections or selected sections such as fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). Also, our solution can be completely customized according to customer’s needs. We report detection results and provide integration options to existing systems such as ERP, SAP, etc.
